Pillar EMS Academy strives to provide students with comprehensive education programs


to prepare emergency medical technician and paramedic students to have the fundamental proficiency in providing the highest quality pre-hospital care for critically ill and injured patients. Our continuing education shall pursue current EMS trends. Our involvement in current EMS research remains up-to-date on the many changes that evolve and shape today’s pre-hospital care.

EMT COURSE

Learn necessary skills required for employment with a fire department, ambulance service, hospital emergency room, or disaster relief organization with our sixteen-week EMT course, 345 hrs. with 60 hours of ride-clinical. Our school is 100% committed to the students' success and will be holding instructor-led office hours bi-weekly to answer questions and provide better insight.

You'll be taught to

  • Provide supportive care to patients in the pre-hospital emergency setting.

  • Develop critical thinking skills, professionalism, effective communication with patients and colleagues
